(C.6) UCI National Demonstration - your help - reply form

Demonstration day has passed - as reports come in they will appear on the web-site...webmaster 28th Feb 00

UCI are the cinema operators who have still not abandoned their commitment to this damaging Crystal Palace Park development scheme, despite the Crystal Palace Campaign's earnest entreaties to it to do so. We intend to step up our campaign against UCI and any other commercial operators entering this scheme. We want their customers to know that they are a company that has paid little or no regard to the views of residents of Crystal Palace, who do not want their park defiled by a huge multiplex cinema. We also need to get across to UCI that we shall never give in.

Due to regular and forceful demonstrations against UCI cinemas at the Empire, Leicester Square, the management has decided to remove their "UCI" logo from the building. Clearly, demonstrations hurt!

While the Leicester Square demonstrations continue each Monday and Tuesday, our next mass action is a national anti-UCI day on Saturday 26th February 2000 when we intend to rally outside each of the 30 English UCI cinemas.

If you would be willing to attend a demonstration on that date, please complete the form below.

We intend to demonstrate outside each of UCI's cinemas between 3 p.m. and 6. p.m on the 26th February 2000.

Submitting the form below will help us greatly in organising this nation-wide event.

First - please note that our demonstrations are peaceful, legal and FUN - banner waving, chanting, noisy... however - they have a serious message.

Second - here is a provisional list of the UCI cinemas to be targetted - some may not be feasable for various reasons, some addresses are not quite complete but will be updated as information comes in:
