Thank you for your letter of 9^th February. I did reply to your previous letter dated 31^st January on 6^th February. I assume that, by now, you have received my previous letter but, if not, I enclose a further copy.

I do not think there is anything I can add to my previous letter other than to say that I do not believe the proceedings in the High Court last week make any difference to what I said. Indeed, the comments of the Judge supported the Council's legal position.

Whether the Council should exercise its legal rights is another matter. The decision on this will be taken by Elected Members at the appropriate time. In making the decision the Elected Members will be well aware of the views of those local residents who support the Crystal Palace Campaign as reflected in your letter.
