These pictures were taken on Sunday, 8 September 2002, and show the state of play at the Top Site.
The Bromley Council notice states the reason for the erection of the hoardings.
On the Parade, although the hoardings have been painted and blend in with the trees, the fact is that the marvelous view across the ridge from the Parade has been lost and access to the Park has been restricted particularly for the disabled .
From inside the Park, the hoardings are hardly visible.
Let's hope the arrangement doesn't remain like this for too long.
